Iowa weather is a study in extremes,with thunderstorms and fireworks during the springtime and summer that are beautiful to watch.Summer time temperatures are normally quite warm, ranging from 90-100 fahrenheit, perfect for wearing nothing more than shorts and a tee shirt.

While there isn't a vast extreme in snowfall in the winter time, it does tend to get quite windy,with an annual rainfall of about 30 inches.
